Dr. Richard Ivy, D.C. is a Doctor of Chiropractic and Certified in Acupuncture and has been in practice for over 30 Years. His intrest in this field began with the him ordering a mri for his son and discovering that Duncan was missing a part of his brain.

Melanie Thompson

 EDUCATION
With a career in academia spanning two decades, Ms. Thompson is an asset to any cognitive therapy program. While having taught in both the public and private sector; she has extensive experience working with children from all educational backgrounds, learning styles and abilities. Her experience includes administering and employing assessments (such as: CogAT, Cognitive Assessment Testing; TAKS, Texas Assessments of Knowledge and Skills; ITBS, Iowa Standardized Test; ACCEL, Gifted and Talented; and TELPAS, for English Language Learners) to create effective learning activities and experiences.  Her mission is to help all children reach their full potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth.
Certifications- English, 1-8; Elementary Self-Contained, 1-8, Generalist, 4-8; English as a Second Language; TELPAS; and ACCEL, Gifted and Talented
 
FITNESS/LIFE STYLE COACH
She has been active in the fitness industry for over 25 years and certified through AFAA since 1991. She provides individualized assistance and coaching for all fitness levels. Having been a personal trainer to the stars at the Greenhouse Spa® in the nineties; she continues to change the lives of hundreds by instructing a variety of fitness classes at a multitude of levels. Ms. Thompson adds the energy and expertise to any exercise or therapy program available. Her certifications through Aerobics & Fitness Associates of America® encompass a variety of aerobic classes, nutrition, biomechanics, Pilates and yoga.   She is also certified to teach Body Pump®, Turbo Kickboxing® and PiYo®.
